@DeldanaL @TheCinesthetic I still, at 48, cry every time I see this scene
English

@Imani_Barbarin Perimenopause, recent self diagnosis of AuDHD so unmasking and stress from family I’m lucky I get 5 hours max a day—that said love my job so I am awake for that—can’t say same for my Masters courses right now—so yes been ongoing for 8 months now

@MorrisonBeth Also contact the professional standards org—the one who hands out license to practice and report educators—that is what we do here in Ontario, Canada—
English

@MorrisonBeth Early childhood educator here and this is an ethical and moral failure in duty to protect child—educators need training on how to work with ASD students—and on inclusive practices that support the whole child-give name of childcare place—and report—for the safety of the child

When I was looking for Airbnb’s last year in Canada I saw someone posted their backyard gazebo that was enclosed with a mesh. Reign it in airbnb

Have you ever wanted to sleep inside of a tent… next to strangers in other tents… inside of a stranger’s living room? If so, your strange, strange wish has been granted. Read more ⬇️

@kvlovely19 Styling I think plays a big part in not looking our age—I know I don’t wear what my boomer parents wear—my hair is pretty natural and sunscreen/no smoking/light in the drink/ but I went hard in my youth—raving and all—grew up outside in rural areas and water hoses!
English

@JohnnySobczak @MatthewACherry Ummm Chinese dramas are anywhere from 24-72 episodes long and will be aired usually 2 episodes a night every night until they finish—most Korean dramas are 1 season and wrap up nicely by episode 16, sometimes 18/20. I stopped with regular tele due to this game changer!

@MrsSDalton75 So I believe it truly boils down to relationships at the centre and an open heart and willingness to follow the child. Mine is 12
English

@MrsSDalton75 For us it is the relationships he developed with his teachers who are fully engaged in supporting students no matter where they are at—a UDL approach in an IB curriculum and a whole team approach—it matters and as a teacher I’m impressed! Relationships are centre to my practice

After 10 weeks at new schl executive function skills and memory improving. His self-confidence is growing. Any experts out there know if this is because of lower anxiety? He is dyslexic and had poor executive function skills which frustrated him. Increased sleep prob helping too?
Sarah Dalton@MrsSDalton75
My son managed 9 months in a strict secondary school when his anxiety turned to depression at age 11. Now in a more relaxed setting the signs of anxiety are disappearing he sleeps better, no more sick feelings, he’s doing things again he used to enjoy. Good grades at what cost!?
English

@MonteSyrie Capitalism—I worked in Germany and not once felt guilty about sick day leave after adjusting to their sick day policy—wellness is encouraged to be a better teacher—this is my philosophy moving forward—if I’m not well how can I be an effective teacher/co facilitator?
English

@garethkthomas Nope—I am teaching my kids about setting boundaries—work is work, home is home—I learned this after a major burnout episode—we are not cogs and we will not be subjected to capitalist demands of no work/life balance—same with taking personal mental health days—we take them
English

@MathStudio_Usha I make no bones about how my middle child ruined my body—literally had to have corrective surgery—and dealing with PTSD while pregnant with third child resulting in a very planned c-section—some women have great experiences but the vast majority don’t and we can say what we want
English

@naomicfisher Because in the end BEHAVIOUR IS COMMUNICATION—what is that child communicating through the behaviour
English

@naomicfisher This truth is what I was telling my sons school because before he started it he was happy to go to school but the approach they used in his new school saw a rise in refusal—took a year off this year and is starting new school in August with plenty of support and integration!
