Reds could have used it…

Just another one of those “Reds are going to Reds” losses…. Had a 5-0 lead. Had a runner on 2nd with 0 outs in the 9th to win, fail to move him, and then give up a 2 run bomb in the 10th, only to have a middle aged man with a glove possibly take away the game tying homer. Reds

If you’re a grown man and wear a glove to a baseball game… I cannot be your friend.

Reds get a leadoff double from McLain in the bottom of the 9th with Myers, Elly, & Sal coming up with a chance to win it, Matt doesn’t move, and we all knew what that meant. Reds give up a 2 run bomb in the 10th, and now trail by 2. This stuff gets exhausting.

Reds drop the final game in Chicago 8-3. Rough series all around, and the Reds have been swept in back to back series. Got to figure something out and quickly. Redlegs will open a 3 game set at GABP against the Astros starting tomorrow.

Just when ya think it can’t get any worse, they find a way…

The Cubs for the 3rd night in a row comeback and walk it off against the Reds… Twice failing to score a run with 1st & 3rd no outs, blowing a save, and intentionally walking a RH to get left on left just to walk him on 5 pitches to lose the game… absolutely brutal.
