I’ll never understand Shanks hype bro. Like not only is he a boring character, but he’s not even portrayed to be that strong 😭 Like this guy has had T1 glazers since he was introduced and for absolutely nothing. Now they’ll tell you it’s cause “feats” yet Shanks didn’t get a feat until Roger and wb sky split 😭😭

@redtaroz @jayisdecent3 Well that’s what i’m saying, for now his characters feels boring to me because it feels like his character seemingly has no flaws. I could be wrong. for example Mihawk’s flaw is that he doesn’t get along with others pointed out be Croc. I think we will get it soon tho.

Honestly not even invalid I think Oda making shamrock the guy who talked to the gorosei instead of shanks kind of ruined the intrigue I had for him he’s a likable character but he’s a bit too perfect now so he fell off a bit for me. Great character still 👍🏼

He IS boring whether you like it or not. He used to be an intriguing character but unfortunately Oda ruined that. He’s a Gary Stu ass character that’s written to be universally liked which makes him unlikable. This is genuinely the single most corny piece of dialogue Oda has ever written in his 1181 chapters of op and it’s not even remotely close. I physically cringed reading this self loathing bs. Mihawk being an uninteresting character to you doesn’t take away from the fact that Shanks is a Gary Stu ass boring character.

@Luffyriderr1018 Its because he's one of the first characters introduced and Odas self insert. He may not be luffy's end Goal but he's someone Luffy admires and respects the most. he doesn't need to be the strongest but narratively he should be strong as shit.
