I’ve joked about Palace over the last few months but I’ve also openly stated many times that I like them as a football club, they have decent fans and are likeable. Banter put aside. We really did fuck each other over in the summer and it served no other purpose other than to weaken our stance and both take our eye off the ball. The CAS shit show put us as a football club on the back foot with recruitment, put us behind in our preparation for the new season and almost every decision from there seemed wildly obtuse and poorly thought out. I can’t speak for the Palace fans but it seems like both clubs have had issue after issue when we should both have been looking forward to a season of promise and hope. It would seem with Palace in Glasner, Eze, Guehi, Mateta, CAS ruling and lack of investment whilst Forest have had MGW to Spurs saga, CAS arguments, Nuno fall out, Edu incompetence, Ange shit show and more lack proper guidance or dare I say ambition? Self sabotage at its finest and in this league I think any club is a window or two away from relegation if recruitment and strategies don’t align. I’ve had plenty of banter with the Palace fans and most know it’s just a bit of fun but how both clubs have allowed this to happen should be questioned so Marinakis and Parish should not be immune to them. #NFFC #CPFC
