HOW TO PLAY TAHM ADC: A GUIDE.
I will openly say I have NO IDEA how to play Botlane/ADC, and yet hit Challenger on this pick.
This is proof to how broken it is, I guarantee it'll be nerfed in a few months, so abuse it now for freelo.
Here are the Do's and Don'ts of Tahm ADC:
DO:
- Start E Level 1!
(The ONLY weak point of this pick is Levels 1-2 where you can get zoned off CS, but with E Start/Dshield/Second Wind/Revitalise you are immune to 99% of ADC's damage Level 1)
- Play Passive Levels 1-3!
(You will get bullied by most Double Ranged Bots which are meta now, but you always win all ins post Level 3-4, so it can be good to give up a few minions on first 2 waves to preserve HP for the all-in)
- First Reset: Buy DARK SEAL and Giants Belt/Ruby Crystal.
(After this you win ALL FIGHTS, so your aim should be to get a freeze on your side of lane and constantly all-in your opponents. You can either play off your Support engaging for you, or you can engage yourself.
The way to start fights on Tahm is to either look for Q>W combo on immobile target, or sit in bush and Raw W behind them to force fight)
- Rush PROTOPLASM HARNESS
(This item is insanely cheap and 10x stronger than Heartsteel. It costs 2500g, so even if you lose CS, lose plates, and don't kill them, you will still spike on your item WAY before enemy ADC will, making you unkillable.)
- Take Aggressive Summoners
(This is maybe personal preference, but I did the whole climb without Flash and instead ran both Exhaust/Ignite with Support taking Heal.
This is to make sure you can constantly all-in and win every fight, enemy ADC will have very bad CS due to constant fighting, making them useless)
DONT:
- DONT play Senna with Tahm unless you main her
(Tahm Senna is a good combo but it's NO LONGER broken. Bad Senna players lost me way more LP than I gained from Good Senna players)
Tahm ADC unironically works with all Supports, since you can easily adapt to them (Will explain why this works in tweet below)
- DONT be insecure! You win all fights after Level 4!
(Tahm ADC is good but obviously you will get outscaled by 4+ Item traditional ADCs, so you must put them behind and stack Dragons)
Constantly setup freezes with your high health pool and Spam W behind them to force fights, land your Q's and use small shields to spam Shield Bash rune for damage.
- DONT build Heartsteel!!!
(This item SUCKS!!!! You can maybe do it below Diamond because people are bad and games go long but if you're Diamond+ I'd say never to build it)
