Biggest edge MOST of us retail traders have is turnover If you compound your risk up/down with performance, catching frequent smaller sized gains will always outperform catching a few big gains When I realized this I stopped trying to hold shit for months or weeks and focused on a lot of smaller gains banking most profit in 2-4 days of entry - this made me 10x more money 10 10% gains outperforms 1 100% gain by a pretty hefty margin

@tomcraw yeah great point need to add that for building new strats, already have a technique to mitigate taking full losses cause I track MAE on my live trading Forgot to add cause I was just collecting data on setups I already know, but will def be an addition to the app

@reedstrades I'd recommend adding MAE as a metric, has helped me cut losers faster because all my best trades hardly move against me at all

Gotta love claude Built a app for manually collecting execution data for my setups - AI is great when u have valid use cases for it, this is much better than using excel haha Great thing to do to build confidence in ur setups & build new ones btw
