I agree with folks saying with should call it “CI” (computational intelligence) not “AI” (artificial intelligence). The knowledge is still “us” — so the artificial part seems like a misnomer.

Are our ideas about “what we want to be when we grow up” environmental (something that develops based on our early years)? Or is this something predetermined and imprinted on our DNA (tantamount to a system prompt)?

Is the reason we seem to have inexorable growth nature’s way of preventing division by zero? And why stasis = annihilation?

Is @babylonjs down at the moment? Seems like some sort of outage happening?

Our company, Bitreel, is looking for a #Houdini generalist to convert an existing HDA from quadtree to octree. We can pay $US upfront for the project. Expect it would only take a couple of days for an experienced tech artist. Know anyone interested? @sidefx @HoudiniSchool

@reelbyte Sure, it’ll work with Babylon. It just record an HTML canvas. Doesn’t matter what is on that canvas.

today I solved a two-decade old problem of reordering table columns in @PostgreSQL by creating a CLI script that allows to simply reorder columns using arrows and apply the changes by recreating the table and moving the data, while preserving the sequences and index names

@s13k_ @PostgreSQL I still can’t believe a script is needed for this.. seems like something postrgres would have long ago implemented. I really needed this around 8 months ago. Glad to hear I’m not the only one who struggled with this

@PostgreSQL column order matters both logically and physically I still hope that postgres will implement logical column ordering in the future

@boukansyax @capoom_inc @_leohirano Thanks for sharing! This is a great article. Wish I could use UV… our hip files require older python version than UV needs so we are using proxy server to get around it. But issue is that the Houdini MCP server won’t connect in Cline. Maybe due to proxy server?

github.com/capoom/houdini…

@BerKai97 @jhorikawa_err @BerKai97 we are frequent Houdini users and are very excited about using the Capoom MCP. We use Redshift plugin with Houdini and because of this have trouble with MCP instal. Do you know a way around Redshift plugin issues with this MCP. Happy to DM to provide more info

@tedx_ai hey Ted, love BrowserTools 1.2 and use it daily. Is it possible to modify the default path for where screenshots are saved? I know you added ability to auto-paste into Cursor but I’m looking for a way to specify path for images on local machine. Thanks!

Turn out the Blender MCP approach also works for QGIS — an open-source geospatial intelligence tool. In other words, Claude can now do vibe mapping for you 🌎 🌐
