🧵Donovan Desmond isn’t just part of Spy x Family.
He’s the ideological spine the story quietly builds around.
{This theory connects canon narrative threads already present in the manga.}

loid's confession is wrote in a way where the reader can still doubt his feelings for yor', but if you follow closely the manga and remember all the elements we got until now that showcased loid's feelings for her through the story, you'll easily see that he is telling the truth
i jst realised that he’s literally like a child when he gets asked how much he loves his mom, he just blurts it out without thinking, but he doesn’t even realize it. (jst saying🥀)

I love sxf, obviously, but there are certain moments in chapters and episodes I have to skip because I absolutely HATE seeing Anya genuinely upset or in serious danger. It breaks my heart into pieces to see that girl suffer. Like, it’s a good thing the series is a comedy and when Anya is sad it’s then usually played up for humor. Otherwise I would’ve jumped off a bridge by now seeing her distressed. I hate thinking about her being afraid of being abandoned and alone, and working so hard to try to keep her family together. She’s a baby, she shouldn’t have to do that. I’m scared of what will happen in the future. She deserves only good things. I only want to see her happy.
Maybe this is what Loid and Yor feel like?? Is this parenting?? Is a little fictional anime girl my child???? 🤔
