@DriftFDN Everything must go towards doing right by those user's impacted, the entire #1 goal should be the recovery pool, that is all the matters near and long term, including assets in borrow/lend, including Tethers funds, including new biz loans to fix users now* not 40 years from now!

you guys seriously seeded the pool with only 3.8M??? come on team. this is just a PR stunt to appear like you're "caring" while doing the absolute bare minimum by your users. Drift’s best historical revenue year was around $7M pre-hack, even if you put 100% if revenue into the pool every year, it'll take 10yrs** to recover a measly 1/4th losses at best*. That's ridiculous and you know this plan will never make users whole again Take the Tether funds and put it into the recovery pool. Take a loan out and put into the recovery pool. You guys have truly shown you don't care about your once loyal users.

We told our community we would find a path to recovery. This is that path. Today’s update covers: how users will be compensated and how the exchange is being rebuilt.

Identifying a path towards recovery has been the sole focus since April 1. The collaboration with @tether and other partners gives us the resources to find that path on an accelerated timeline. businesswire.com/news/home/2026… The structure matters: in the initial phase of the collaboration, a substantial portion of exchange revenue, together with committed support capital, is intended to fund a dedicated user recovery pool. This collaboration is the first major step in rebuilding stronger than before. We’ve outlined important details in an Incident Recovery Update here: drift.trade/updates/incide…

Today, Drift is announcing a collaboration with @tether and other partners totaling up to nearly $150 million to support our commitment to a relaunch with USDT at the center, and a path to user recovery. These funds encompass a $100M revenue-linked credit facility, an ecosystem grant, and loans to market makers, designed to fund a dedicated user recovery pool. Learn more 👇

Two weeks ago, when Drift was exploited for $280M, @aave founder Stani publicly mocked them, saying “this is not DeFi” In a twist of irony, today AAVE has been hit for $280M+ with the same method, likely by the same attackers... Karma is real. Grave dancing is bad. 🤯

Why people swap USDC to USDT: 👇 @circle > Watched how $230M was stolen from Drift for 6 hours > Froze 16 wallets for a random civil case > Said they “can’t freeze without legal orders” - But their own terms allow it > Minted $500M USDC during the hack > Now getting sued over it @tether > Supported Drift with $130M > $3.3M USDT was frozen by them in Drift hack > Became Drift’s new settlement layer > Froze another $3M USDT yesterday in the Rhea Finance hack Now Tether is gaining big marketshare Are you swapping USDC to USDT to support tether?

@cindyleowtt @DriftProtocol @tether Hey Cindy is there any priority for Drift users with large positions to be “made whole” after this? Restored fully? Are perp positions still active?

After April 1, we put our heads down and committed to making this right for our users and partners. Today, we're announcing a collaboration with @tether and other partners, through which they are proposed to contribute up to $147.5 million combined to support user recovery and facilitate the Drift Protocol relaunch. The collaboration is structured around a clear, revenue-driven recovery mechanism designed to prioritize users from day one through a revenue-linked credit facility, an ecosystem grant, and loans to market-makers. During the initial phase of the collaboration, a substantial portion of exchange revenue, together with committed support capital, is intended to fund a dedicated user recovery pool. The willingness of @paoloardoino, Tether and our partners to commit real capital to Drift’s recovery says something about the strength of what we've built and what we're building next, as well as our shared vision to scale the Solana DeFi ecosystem together. We are committed to continuing to provide transparency rooted in accountability as we build Drift back stronger in the coming months, and have outlined initial steps towards relaunch and user recovery in this Incident Recovery Update: drift.trade/updates/incide… Full details from @DriftProtocol: businesswire.com/news/home/2026…

It is absolute madness in Iran. The ceasefire has made the surviving regime rabid and intoxicated. These parades reportedly happen all the time, including nighttime where they will scream islamic chants and intimidate normal Iranians trying to sleep. If anyone complains, or even speaks to other people, the regime will arbitrarily arrest them on invented charges. Do not abandon Iran, President Trump. Do not forget your initial promise was to help the people, not impose a nuclear deal.

Circle Sued Over $230M Drift Hack, USDC Freeze Failure Circle faces a class action lawsuit over its failure to freeze funds stolen in the ~$280 million Drift Protocol exploit on April 1; investor Joshua McCollum, representing over 100 investors, filed the case in a Massachusetts district court, alleging Circle allowed attackers to move about $230 million in USDC from Solana to Ethereum via its CCTP over several hours without intervention, constituting aiding and abetting conversion and negligence; Drift is expected to abandon USDC and switch to USDT for settlement after relaunch.

Circle sued by class action filed over Drift Protocol $280 Million Hack By Gibbs Mura, A Law Group for not freezing the stolen funds. OAKLAND, CA—On April 14, 2026, Gibbs Mura, A Law Group was the first to file a class action lawsuit on behalf of Drift Protocol investors who lost money in the $280 million April 1st hack, widely considered the largest cryptocurrency exploit of 2026. The lawsuit charges Circle Internet Financial with knowingly permitting the attackers, reportedly tied to North Korea’s government, to offload $230 million of their spoils over the course of several hours by using Circle’s own stablecoin USDC and its blockchain bridge CCTP, instead of freezing the funds. The attorneys at Gibbs Mura and co-counsel Joshua Joseph Law Firm LLC continue to review potential Drift investor claims against Circle. classlawgroup.com/class-action-f…
