@MerrDawglol @BotDeej my issue with it comes up if i play with my casual friends (let’s say they’re silver/gold) but we q together in pubs (im diamond/master) we don’t play vs plat squads (would be manageable), we’re up against diamond/masters 3-stacks they stand 0 chance against, it’s a bad exp

@BotDeej Imagine playing in silver lobbies all day long tho. That sounds so boring. I honestly believe most people don’t really understand how much sbmm helps. It may be overtuned a little but still

SBMM in public matches in a game where there is a ranked playlist that has practically zero requirements to get started in is stupid. Obviously us degens who have been playing apex/video games for 6+ hours a day for years have a biased view but my point still stands lmfao

@inhuman @_Shuttle18 this is my biggest gripe as well. i shouldn’t have to make multiple accounts just to enjoy the game with friends at different skill levels

Before SBMM in games, if I ran into a dude that was max prestige in COD and stomping the entire lobby, I thought that dude was sick and it made me want to get better, I didn't get tilted at matchmaking putting me into that lobby, and I still enjoyed the match

@heytred maybe ppl are feeling sbmm more i because there are more good players now. that said, i think mm for solo q in a team game is a unique challenge. especially for skilled players who pull the overall MMR of their squad up

@GenericEdBoi i love moira my strat is basically: -at least 80% orbs should be healing -think of dmg as recharging -pop ult to keep tank up -seek smart picks ie: when a squishy is isolated and your team is healthy (use fade+dmg orb) usually end with top healing and compete with dps for dmg
