I won't tell you that $5,000 would save my life, because that wouldn't be true.
I'm lucky. I grew up in a complete family with parents who have always loved and supported me. Financially, we're doing okay.
But every weekend, especially in the late afternoon, I often visit a local orphanage. There are more than 30 children there. Some of them have lost their parents, some were abandoned, and some don't even know where their families are.
What surprises me every time is that they still laugh. They still play together like they're one big family. Their happiness comes from the smallest things, playing outside, sharing snacks, or simply having someone spend time with them.
Every time I leave, I wish I could do more than just visit.
If I were lucky enough to win this $5,000, every dollar would go toward creating a day they'll never forget gifts, games, good food, school supplies, and memories that remind them they are loved.
Maybe $5,000 won't change my life.
But I truly believe it could become one of the happiest days of theirs @Romer
