This is my petition to start a petition to give Mike Robles his public flowers.
Very few have contributed to independent wrestling the way he has.
It is more than likely he has helped produce more revenue for independent companies than anyone else.

Name the worst son of a promoter or wrestler that you ever seen. A wrestler that is the defines you are only in the biz, based on your last name, daddy, or daddy's promotion.
George gulas is the most obvious one. Tall-skinny, couldn't throw a punch, harley race had to carry him to a draw, killed his dad's territory as a draw.
This morning i saw the new el canek jr. Skinny. Out of place. Only got booked in order for his 73 yr old daddy to work the show.

The original lie of a license being lost, I blamed Chuck.
Now that his lies have been exposed, I still blame Chuck.

IMO responsibility for the apparent GFM scam isn’t with the organizer, who took the venue operator’s claims about a revoked license at face value and was trying to do good.
It’s on the operator for okaying it, as only he could’ve known it was based on a lie.

@refdudebj @PatKetza I’m trying to protect the venue and the owner of the venue, not the promotion’s actions - even if I’m a fan of RPW. You’re right, the actions are inexcusable. But you’re missing the point of the GFM.

Chuck created this mess. Chuck refuses to take accountability for letting any yahoo run the Berwyn Eagles Club.
Man, it’s hard to have any sympathy for this situation. Creating a Gofundme reeks of desperation.

This sudden change has led to immediate event cancellations, leaving Chuck and the club without their primary source of income. The loss not only impacts the club’s day-to-day operations but also puts its long-term future at risk as they search for new ways to sustain the business."

You said I don’t like to hurt anyone’s feelings.
You were trying to compliment a young man’s match and couldn’t do that without drawing a negative comparison.
I’m suggesting you could have said how impressive he was, especially for a first match, keep an eye on him, etc. and left it alone.
But you just can’t do that. You always have to say “this guy” is better than “that guy.”
Based on what Dave? Your opinion. What did the agent of the NXT matches ask them to do? Did they do what they were asked? You don’t know.
Instead of saying, “I didn’t enjoy this match” or “this style isn’t for me,” you just objectively say someone sucks or isn’t very good without any knowledge of what they were tasked with doing in the first place.
NXT and GCW present wrestling very differently so to compare the two is truly apples and oranges.
For the record, we typically enjoy the same type of performances. The difference is that I don’t go to a seafood joint and complain about their steaks.

@refdudebj @PatKetza I do agree about the lack of accountability but there may be a legal reason for the silence right now. I’m inside the business, not a fan. Chris ran his business well. Everyone got paid, the venues loved him.

A good promoter owns everything that happens during the course of his business putting on an event. Period.
