"When does reg open?" Well... about that. We are unfortunately dealing with a financial dispute with the hotel of our previous edition, which is still ongoing despite our best efforts these past months to resolve it. The missing sponsor pack items and any missing raffle winnings are unfortunately tied up with this also, as the situation has to be resolved first. The decision has been made to postpone the main convention by a year, meaning RFR Trial & Error will be hosted in 2027. However, we are actively looking into organizing some smaller event(s) before RFR Trial & Error! More information to be announced in the future... We understand that this is disappointing, but our full focus is needed towards resolving the situation. We thank you for your patience, and will share updates as soon as we have them, both on the ongoing wrap-up of RFR'25 as well as any announcements for new event(s)!

Hey everyone! We have a small update in regards to the remaining Sponsor Pack items from this year's edition, namely that we are still hard at work on getting them to you, but are unfortunately awaiting third parties. We are of course disheartened by this too, as we would've loved to have been able to get you all your items already by this point. We will share another update on the progress towards the end of January, including how to let us know if the address we should ship your items to has changed. In the meantime, we all at the RFR Volunteer team would like to wish you a wonderful holiday season and a happy new year, and hope to see you back at RFR in 2026!

@NorwegianFennec @LunariFox Oh! We didnt mean that the venue is not furry friendly, with this edition, the venue learned what a furcon is and they are quite positive about it. We will keep you updated ~

@reffurence @LunariFox Would it not be possible to find a more furry friendly venue ? This sounds way too strict. And if they don’t really like furries that sounds like it will be a long term issue.

@reffurence can you explain to me why a petsuit that literally covers up more skin would not be allowed to wear? Because I cannot understand it at all.

@Hell_Charm @LunariFox Yes! We totally agree and have written this down as feedback for the hotel. Again sorry for the confusion, but next edition it will be communicated more extensively. 🙏🏼

Just my 2 cents, but it would have been nice if the staff member who sent out multiple people during the dance would have explained a bit better. It was during 'relaxed' dresscode hours and neither me nor any of the others that were sent away got much of an explanation beyond petsuits not being allowed. They are not explicitly mentioned in the code of conduct. Seeing they were allowed in the previous year I don't think any of us expected we were doing anything wrong nor wearing fetish gear.

@LunariFox The venue (at first) banned all “non proper clothing” in the hotel unless the Saturday night. We now find out that the venue has more ‘feeling’ with a furry convention and the rules will be revised next year. Again, our apologies for the confusion. 😔

@reffurence No problem at all I was super surprised! So if i understand your reply correctly the volunteer security member made a mistake and this outfit would’ve actually been completely fine to wear?
