It's been considered sacrilegious to say this in the industry but "data" isn't going to make your news outlet successful, neither are audience editors, neither are "user needs." They key is good f'ing journalism and good f'ing journalists. And he's just sacked a bunch of them.

Pro ICE gimp Jake Lang gets arrested for destroying an anti ICE statue. He was arrested after defacing an ICE protest ice sculpture, changing to words from “Prosecute ICE” to “Pro ICE.” He was booked into Ramsey County Jail after reportedly causeing $6,000 of damages.

Today in Florida, the Russian Special Envoy Kirill Dmitriev held productive and constructive meetings as part of the U.S. mediation effort toward advancing a peaceful resolution of the Ukrainian conflict. The American delegation included Special Envoy Steve Witkoff, Secretary of Treasury Scott Bessent, Jared Kushner, and White House Senior Advisor Josh Gruenbaum. We are encouraged by this meeting that Russia is working toward securing peace in Ukraine and is grateful for @POTUS’s critical leadership in seeking a durable and lasting peace.
