They are not walking away from US debt. Ironically, it's because US Dollars remains the only trusted currency that they are forced to sell in their down market. Japan has to save the Yen and Dollars is the only currency to do it. China has collapsed top to bottom and nobody wants their RMB currency and they can only make transactions out of US Dollars. They don't make enough so they have to sell their holdings. This isn't countries moving away from US Dollars, it speaks more to their market and economy collapse.

He was questioned about what he wanted to buy, denied entry, and had security called on him while only two customers were inside. A guard reportedly told him they were only letting a few customers in at a time. He says he’s shopped at Louis Vuitton for years and has never run into that policy before, and left feeling profiled and humiliated. Some people are saying stores tightened entry limits like this during COVID and just never fully went back to normal. No way to confirm if this is a real standing policy or something applied selectively here, but it’s worth asking either way. Have you ever run into a “limited entry” rule like this at a luxury store before?

I know people that fights fires. Warren Buffett, if he even uses leverage, only uses up to 2x and WITH INSURANCE, and cash on the side to cover margin call if necessary. And he uses it rarely. These new generation of investors thinking they can just get 3x/4x leverage and hold them long? Gotta be kidding me....

if you buy bitcoin at $118,000 and it drops to $64,000 you can just sell it then buy it right back a few seconds later you still end up with the same one bitcoin but now you can write off a $54,000 capital loss for taxes

@valerijatrades1 Leverage trades are like option calls. SET A DATE, SET A GOAL. GET OUT when goal reached (50% profit for example, don't be greedy). People using leverage trades as long growth? RIP.....

This is why we don’t leverage trade friends. This is such a sad story but should be also a great lesson

1) Selling stocks hit you 20% tax on any profits (assuming long-term, short-term is more) 2) You're assuming your stocks will make money, but that's not always the right assumption. 3) People tend to sell winners (stocks that made money) and hold on to losers (stocks that is more likely to lose value), so you're hurting yourself 4) Stock selling and transactions typically take 3 business days to reach your bank (some 5 if you add weekends), minimal. And if you're broker sucks, 7-10 days. You might not get your money in time for emergency. Best scenario: all your stocks make money, you don't care. Worst scenario: all your stocks loses money, you sell due to emergency, you lose even more, you feel like your world is blown. Most likely scenario: you win some lose some, you need cash, you will more than likely sell winners and keep losers, paying taxes and destroying your growth. Either way, I hope I made a case that having emergency cash is better than all-in on your folio.
