Instant D&D in Fizzy by handling the interaction in the client optimistically. PR here: github.com/basecamp/fizzy… Being able to improve things incrementally is a very intentional feature in Hotwire, and you should leverage it. Handling this server-side was totally doing the job here, and that has been how we have used Fizzy for months. Unless your time is infinite, this is a game of tradeoffs.
