STEPHEN MORRIS Of Joy Division/ New Order. My fave drummer of all time. Precision is impeccable.

On the grand scheme of hip-hop D.U. is monumental. few acts other than D.U. had the ability to cross over &maintain their street cred. D.U. had important msgs w/ in their playful catchy sound, self love& acceptance, safe sex, in a time where gangsta rap reigned supreme.

The video for I’m Broken was released #onthisday, 32 years ago. It was the first single off of Far Beyond Driven and went on to garner a Grammy nomination for Best Metal Performance in 1995. Video was directed by Wayne Isham. Do you remember the first time you heard the track?

@20th_Centurygal Stephen Carpenter of the @deftones. One the biggest reason they have been able to evolve & remain outside of the numetal era of the late 90s that they broke into. Criminally underrated guitar player.

@migbits @20th_Centurygal I didn't appreciate him w/ ozzy as I should've but I've seen Pantera 2x now w/ him and blown away. Dimebag was unique & zakk nails it. Pantera is my fave live band & I was so apprehensive when they reunited w/ new line up but still my fave live. Nothing like them.
