London is staring down one of the most extreme heatwaves in city history.
Highs are forecast to reach 37–39°C (99–102°F) Tuesday through Thursday, with an astonishing low of 24°C (75°F) forecast Tuesday night.
Wednesday could make a run at 40°C, approaching London’s all-time record from 2022 and smashing the city’s June record by over 3°C.
