The response from the president: not possible. As a bandaid solution: an anonymous email address for students to send their issues to after an issue has already happened

Our solution was to add a buffer to the system, so that if/when funding was held up (as was happening more and more with the pandemic) the students can still receive a paycheck to pay rent and buy food in one of the most expensive cities in the country

In 2020 when I was a student rep, there were at least 25 students that I know of that were behind on paychecks. When I brought it to the attention of the pres at the GC: blank stares and platitudes. It was “out of our hands” and not their problem.

It is highly concerning to see such deep issues continue to go unaddressed by the senior administration. This remains the case even after years now of students/faculty shedding light on the issues…

What in the noise is this?? On some trials, not all, when my rat licks at the reward port i get these huge amp waves coincident with the licks, likely for the duration that his tongue is in contact with the milk. Some sort of ground / capacitance issue? Thoughts #ephystwitter ?
