I saw Michael last night.
I don’t actually have a review or critical analysis of it. I’ll say I enjoyed watching it, but I realized that it’s nearly impossible to capture everything in a two hour film, even with it ending in the late 80s. The actors def did a great job, no doubt

Jafar Jackson was fantastic as Michael. Man that Human Nature performance had me on the verge of tears. I enjoyed the movie but Michael's life is just to big for a 2 hour movie. They actually should have done a trilogy.

#Michael is aiming to set the record for biggest music biopic opening weekend with a $70 million-plus debut.
Some exhibitors are predicting the final number will be closer to $80 million, far above 2018’s “Bohemian Rhapsody” ($51 million) and 2015’s “Straight Outta Compton” ($60 million, the current record holder).
“Michael” is expected to be even bigger internationally. It’s projected to earn $75 million to $80 million from 82 markets. Globally, the film should end up with a stellar $140 million to $150 million (or more) by Sunday.
