Un grupo de académicos occidentales viajó hasta un simposio en Japón para quejarse de que series como Demon Slayer son demasiado "violentas y desagradables" para su público.
La profesora canadiense Sharalyn Orbaugh criticó que la industria nipona permita transmitir estas obras en horario familiar. Según su reporte, el contenido japonés es tan problemático bajo los estrictos estándares de Norteamérica que se ven obligados a restringirlo con clasificaciones para mayores de 18 años para proteger a su audiencia.

Ubisoft has announced a record €1.3 billion operating loss for its fiscal year ending March 2026. Net bookings dropped 17.4% to €1.53 billion, impacted by underwhelming game launches and development delays. In response, the company implemented cost-cutting measures, including the reduction of about 1,200 jobs and €118 million in fixed costs. Ubisoft predicts an 8-9% decline in sales and a high single-digit loss margin for the 2026-27 fiscal year, but anticipates returning to profit and generating positive cash flow by 2027-28.

- Have a Japanese Samurai in AC Shadows
- Add a male option or at least not have a damn ugly female character in SW Outlaws
- Not do XDefiant
- Do a reskin of AC Black Flag with a character creator
