A1: I feel that there are so many more options when delivering certain strategies to students. This allows me to adjust instruction to meet interests and needs. It's also a bit overwhelming! #strategysmashing #wearepowhatan

A3 One of my favorite digital tools is @Flocabulary. This site uses educational hip hop music to engage ss in different subject areas. These are standard based videos that offer lyrics to go along with the song. Ss can practice fluency, and review content! #strategysmashing

Q3 I must admit that I haven't been good about trying new tech so far w/this PD. I love and use socrative and google forms/classroom but need to branch out. #strategysmashing #wearepowhatan

A2: Using student surveys/interests to relate skills to content that interests them. Also allowing students choice in how they demonstrate mastery, such as using a text or task of their choice. #strategysmashing #wearepowhatan
