Update: My PCP's office was able to fit me in yesterday (despite my primary doc being on maternity leave). The entire office has shown a great deal of care and concern about my symptoms. It's clear that my NP is exploring all possible avenues as it relates to underlying causes.

Medical gaslighting is real. For two weeks, I’ve experienced numbness and tingling on my left side. It became so frightening that I went to the ER. They tried to convince me that I was just stressed and anxious. The nurse suggested that it could be radiation from cellphone use.

I'm not usually one for the humble brag, but it is so cool to have our work at @CARA_NYC recognized by MacKenzie Scott. I'm inspired by how much she gives, who she gives to, and the trust she puts in those orgs ( tho we should still raise taxes on the rich 😉)
