Google says most people are put in a cast or walking boot for 12 weeks after Achilles surgery.
But Aaron Rodgers had his surgery just two and a half weeks ago and is already walking like this.
It's crazy that he might actually be back this season.

@TescoIrl Hello Tesco. Still a nightmare with online shopping tonight, very slow and eventually unable to check out. I have given up!! Such a pity, I will miss my usual lovely Tesco delivery. Those delivery drivers are all stars!

@karagoucher @iaaforg Very interesting. I hadn’t seen this patent. Thought the track spike was just a VF (or type of) with spike plate outsole? If this shoe provides say 3% RE benefit, it would hint at a slightly different mechanism of advantage & may have implications for regulation, @geoffreyburns?

Exactly right. Even the 2:00:25 with the pacing ‘arrow’, the car and the giant windshield (clock, as some call it). But the shoes are ever present & distort the “input-output” relationship, which changes the athletic limit. These performances are hard to celebrate as ‘athletic'

@Scienceofsport So what happens when he goes under 2hrs in the Nike shoes ? Is it like Bannister and the 4’ mile or are we now in a circus of marketing and publicity hype ? It’s going to happen and it makes me sad tha5nthe media will fawn over it when it does. Personally, it does not sit right .
