@reinyusha Ah, gotcha 😌✨ Makes sense to wait until the story’s more solid. Do you think you’ll start looking for artists once things are more set in stone? 👀
@TorricoDai Due to how early in development my current story is, it isn't really the time for that yet. But once it has progressed more and things are more set in stone, who knows.
@reinyusha Ooo that makes total sense 😌✨ Consistency really makes a story feel whole. For your recent project, would you want someone to try a clean art style for your piece? 👀
@TorricoDai That would depend on the specific story and what feels fitting for it, but what I think is more important is that, whatever the artstyle might be, stays the same for the whole book. Though for the story I've been working on recently I would prefer a clean look.
@reinyusha Ooo I really like that approach keeping them loose gives artists room to breathe, that’s such a cool mindset. If the stories do get published, what kind of vibe would you want the refined illustrations to lean into clean and polished or still a bit expressive and interpretive? 👀
@TorricoDai For now the designs will generally stay quite loose and mostly free to different artists inteprations, but if the stories ever get to the point they might be published, then I would like to refine them further, if not for nothing more than illustrations
@reinyusha Oh that’s such a cool way to approach it 👀✨ I love when design just grows naturally out of the story like that. Do you ever think about polishing some of them into full refs or keeping them more loose and story-first?
Thank you @reinyusha for your request!
