After ten years of being in Opposition, I saw a different Parliament today. It was a parliament where the voices of the Indian people thundered. They made their presence felt in LOP @RahulGandhi ‘s speech- farmers, women, unemployed youth, small businesses, Manipur, agniveer. The soul of Bharathiya sanatan dharm and democracy was reflected in the LOP @RahulGandhi. It was a speech that spoke for India and broke the ego of one man.

The good news is that after 10 years we finally have a parliament where the opposition has a voice that can’t be disregarded. 🙏👍

Absolutely pathetic and shameful. India was conducting numerous entrance exams like JEE, CAT, JNU entrance, AIPMT and so many others for decades, very smoothly and with integrity. In a decade, all that has been destroyed under the pretext of reform and strong leadership.

Wow, what a mess the Indian examination system is. First the government insists on NEET for medical qualification and now it can't seem to conduct it at all. To be young in India today is a horror story

The BJP worries that young people are drifting away from it. But by screwing up the exam system, subverting our best universities, appointing incompetent loyalists to key education posts & telling lies in textbooks this govt has made sure that the drift turns into a rush

जब हम बढ़ रहे तो हमने अपनी ज़बान, भाषा, रेडीओ और टेलिविज़न से भी सीखी थी. तब बड़े बड़े साहित्यकार रेडीओ और टेलिविज़न स्टेशन के इंचार्ज हुआ करते थे. उनके कारण सही भाषा के साथ कोई खिलवाड़ नहीं हो सकता था. आजकल जो हिंदी ‘ वेब सिरीज़ ‘ हम देखते हैं , उनमें धड़ल्ले से माँ बहन की गालियों और उन से एक कदम आगे बढ़ कर किरदारों के मुँह से आम बोल-चाल में वो भाषा बुलाई जाती है जो हम तन्हाई में भी बोलते हुए हिचकिचाते थे. क्या आजकी पीढ़ी ऐसी ही ज़बान में बात करती है? अगर हाँ, तो धिक्कार है माँ बाप पर, शिक्षक, शिक्षिकाओं पर जो अपने ऐश ओ इशरत में उलझे रहे, बच्चों की तरबियत किस चिड़िया का नाम है, ये भूल ही गए. अब होगा ये कि जो पीढ़ी ये सब सुन सुन कर बड़ी होगी वो नस्ल बात भी यूँही करेगी. अब, समझ आता है कि सोशल मीडिया पर गालियाँ इतनी तेज़ बौछारें क्यों आती रहती हैं.

The cost of mediocrity is borne by citizens. Capturing institutions, appointing sycophants and yes men isn’t a sign of strong governance but of a paranoid, insecure one. Our students deserve better.
