TLDR; Expect less shite from me Decided it's now time to start winding down the amount of time I spend on here. Twitter used to be a great laugh, but it's an absolute shambles now, full of fucking bots & spam, a lot of the good guys have already gone, and any engagement you do get tends to be almost universally toxic. It's just shite to be honest. I can't be arsed with it any more. I'm an old fucker and this feels like a colossal waste of my time and energy these days. I've better things to be doing. Hard to give it up completely, so I won't be doing that just yet, but I'm not gonna bother with the really time consuming drivel any more. That starts with the midweek micro previews and the Sunday morning round up - they take fucking ages and let's be honest - nobody really cares whether they're posted or not - so I'm sacking those off immediately. Can't bin the whole account in the middle of the best title race for a million years and ahead of the first Scotland appearance at a World Cup in two million years but I'll give that some more thought in the Summer. Get it up you all.

Might be the most confusing contract situation I’ve seen so far this season. 🤯 Aberdeen have struggled to find a consistent goal-scorer since a certain Macedonian striker left. Alfie Bavidge (19) has 18 goals and 4 assists in 19 starts (34 in total) for Inverness this season. ⚽️ Why is player, who is performing while out on loan, not getting a chance at the club he’s been at since he was 8 years old???

@keetcutz @AbzPodcast They looked good, but terribly unfit. Motherwell far better than us and could have gone in at HT 3 up. These signings are not what we need at this stage. Unfit because they have under performed in last job.

Feel like I'm the only person that thinks Geiger and Areemu looked like they could be decent with more minutes under their belt. Motherwell created less in the first half compared to the second when you compare Areemu on/off. There is defo a player in Geiger. @AbzPodcast

Had a chat with @RyanCryle about the new Dons following their debut at Fir Park on Sunday and what we can expect when Aberdeen face Motherwell again on Wednesday. Should all four start in the Scottish Cup tie?

@colingale @KeltyHearts @AberdeenFC They want to play for Aberdeen. None of the new signing do - they could not get a game elsewhere and Aberdeen have paid them for 4 months. We are a shambles and need to go back to basics.

@relaxdel @KeltyHearts @AberdeenFC It is always difficult with young players, but I think he will have a career in football, but not at a high level. Good luck to all young players, it is difficult to make it.

Any young player coming through the Academy is not guaranteed to make it. I have only seen Alfie Bavidge a couple of times playing for @KeltyHearts. He was busy during the games, but it did not make a significant impression.@AberdeenFC

@colingale @AberdeenFC I have seen him play for Ayr and Kelty. Signs of a good player in flashes - and does score goals. Also seen enough of Findlay Marshall to suggest he can play a part rather than unfit and unsuccessful foreign signings.

Just seen a Facebook page and the comments about how it is disgraceful we are letting Bavidge. I do wonder how many of them have actually seen him play. I, for one, have only seen him twice, and wasn't that impressed. @AberdeenFC
