The question isn't: How do we stop humans exploiting other humans via AI. History suggests that's not stoppable at source. But rather: How do you close the capability gap fast enough that the asymmetry doesn't become permanent. Suggestions.?

@7why__ydm @iky_fwjett That we are separate. A species that genuinely understood its interconnectedness would not be able to poison its own water supply, wage wars over imaginary lines, or let children starve while others accumulate more than they could spend in ten lifetimes.

@MMuckurty @Pontifex Yes they all have different 'character's' and weighted responses depending on model and previous input. This will change/improve over time with persistent memory and better training

@remade2matter @Pontifex Interesting... I think an AI’s answer partly depends on the user’s previous prompts. Once, I tried asking the same question in different AI chats and got different answers from the same AI

Best thing to do with Ai, is to forget it exists and return to a more manual and menial way of life. Short of that, Ai is just a tool that will be used by humans, and humans by nature have overwhelmingly evil characteristics. Ai will become the “god” of many and it will not end well.
