BREAKING NEWS: Kingsley Akunemeihe, Chigozie Success Ihebom, and John Surpruchi Nwanorue, the three Twitter users responsible for tweeting and spreading the false news that UBA Chairman m, Tony Elumelu had divorced his wife after discovering he was not the father of his kids following a DNA test, have been arrested by the Nigerian Police following a formal report by the tier 1 Nigerian bank, United Bank for Africa. Investigations are ongoing and are expected to lead to further arrests and prosecutions of all persons involved in originating, amplifying, or sustaining this defamatory campaign, the bank said in a statement today. The statement said the UBA Group remains resolute in protecting the reputation and integrity of its brand and will pursue all necessary legal avenues to ensure that all perpetrators are identified and held accountable. In the picture below is one of the culprits responsible for spreading the false news, Kingsley Akunemeihe and they even went ahead to spread the news that his daughter is hiv positive.
