I don't know that this project will be worth querying. I don't know if there is a readership for it. I acknowledge it's very niche, but at the end of the day it's my niche. So I'll take it one day at a time and see what happens 🥰

I've done some deep thinking of why I've struggled to write and find joy in writing these last months and I think the answer is I need to stop listening to outside voices that make me feel I need to write a certain way or be a certain way. I've always done things my way

revisited a project near and dear to my heart for the first time in 7 months after losing my faith in writing. feels a bit liking coming home and I'm going to do my best to keep my head above water and finish this rewrite this time 💙

I’m trying to read as many horror and suspense books as I can before Halloween and maybe into November. Currently reading The Mary Shelley Club. What book should I read next?

When a stranger asks me if I can watch their bag, I don't know why I feel this need to make sure my eyes stay glued to their bag until they get back

@cjtruwriter I get very anxious no matter what, and I'm always asked if I'm anxious when they take my blood pressure because they can tell 😭 I haven't been to therapy in years, but that was nerve wracking too

Am I the only person who gets substantially more anxious when going to the doctor? Especially mental health specialists?

Me, but with angst

Sometimes daily writing feels discouraging, but I have to remind myself that the days where I write 2k+ words and the days that I write 200 words are both me giving my 100% for the day

I probably got at least a few hundred words in yesterday while waiting for a takeout order that took a half hour longer than expected and I was back in the document at 2am before I fell asleep 😅

I stopped writing on go*gle docs for awhile, but recently started again for a rough draft, and it's been a game changer, because as much as I don't love writing on my phone, I keep finding myself pulling up my document when I'm out and about and waiting on things lately

they said to write what I know, so of course my side character ends up with my day job and my complaints about my day job

Nothing like an uninterrupted Saturday morning on a three day weekend to sip some espresso and write - it's been a wild year and I haven't been this excited about writing in awhile
