Ally and Jake have two beautiful girls, Nala and Teddi. In April 2022, both girls were diagnosed with metachromatic leukodystrophy (MLD), a genetic disease resulting in a life expectancy of five to eight years. There is now a treatment for MLD; scroll down to read their story.⬇️

I had an amazing day attending the Festival of Genomics today. It was great to meet so many inspiring GCs and nurses leading the essential work in genomic mainstreaming. Special mentions to the sessions led by Grace Kavanagh, @ktframpton, @DemetraG6 and @elliemquinn!
