@kichne611 @CasanovaAdolfo independent artists can work together and try to create a centralized platform for this, using piracy data to identify new markets for distribution. but first they have to change the old-fashioned thinking that people pirating the work don’t deserve to have it.

일본에서 지금 해외 불법 번역에 대한 논란이 일어난 모양인데. 적잖은 사람들이 "훔쳐볼 권리"를 주장하는 해외 불법독자들에게 놀라는게 보인다. 세상에 훔치는걸 거부했다고 피해자들을 인종차별자나 계급주의자로 부르는 가해자집단이 있다는걸 알았을 때의 충격은 참 아직도 신선하다. 이게 비정상적인 일이라는걸 설명 씩이나 해야되는게 코미디다.

@kichne611 @CasanovaAdolfo @YD20250410 i don’t think the translation is working properly. netflix does not distribute content for free. instead, they see other people pirating content. then they buy the rights legally, and distribute it themselves. they offer better translations so people pay

@renby @CasanovaAdolfo @YD20250410 아니 그리고 다른 방식으로 궁금해졌는데 창작자가 자신의 창작물을 돈을 받고 판매하고 싶어한다면 그걸 존중해야 하는거 아니야? 상대는 판매를 하고 싶어하는데 너네는 훔칠 권리를 주장하는게 이상하다고 생각하지 않아? 사고 싶지 않으면 안사면 되잖아?

@renby @CasanovaAdolfo @YD20250410 동네 구멍가게도 그렇게 일을 안해 사과 도둑들이 많이 사는 동네에서 사과를 팔아야 겠다고 생각하는 사람이 나오겠니? 가게에서 사과를 팔아도 그 동네 사람들은 사과를 훔쳐먹을텐데. 결국 가게는 문을 닫겠지. 아무도 사과를 사주지 않으니까.

コレ、ずっと同じ話を見かけるが金儲けしたいはずの企業が手をつけない理由があるんだよ。この人達が信じるように本当に簡単に儲かるならとっくにやってるよ。簡単に出来ると思ってるんだろけどそんな簡単じゃないし、儲かる算段がつかないんだ。そもそも海賊版の翻訳が正しいと思ってるのも疑問。

@YD20250410 it’s not that they want to steal it. if there was a legal way to get it in their language, many would pay. if naver webtoon can do it from korea, why can’t japan do it?

@renby 現在英語だけなら結構出てるのでは？他の言語は分からないけど、やろうとはしてるんじゃないかな？政府がクールジャパン政策とか言ってお金出してたよ、英語版が出るようになったのはそのおかげだったはず。そちらの国で海賊版取り締まれば早まるかもね…

@tafuto001 yes, in fact we even have kinokuniya bookstores here 😂 so it doesn’t affect me personally, but i’m curious about this issue as someone with an interest in business. there are platforms trying to translate in other languages, but so far..

@renby 残念な事に日本にも海賊版がある時代もあったよ、正式に売ってるにも関わらず。それが売上につながることはなく、公開してるやつと利用するやつ両方逮捕されるよう法律が変わったら売り上げが戻ったよ。まぁ、電子書籍が増えたりプラットフォームが使いやすくなったのは良かったかもしれない。
