I/renshuu will for the foreseeable future no longer be using Twitter or replying to DMs here. The reason is a good one - renshuu continues to grow, and as a solo-dev, I am trying to focus my time on less communication methods so I can spend more time working on renshuu!

I will still be happy to respond to email (michael@renshuu.org), anything inside renshuu, as well as our discord server (linked in the app). We've got a new renshuu game coming this fall, and I'd rather officially stop using Twitter than leave it in limbo.

We're making a classroom system on our discord for people to come together and practice Japanese together! What kind of pair/group activities have you done in Japanese (or any foreign language) class that you enjoyed or felt like it helped you study?

We occasionally get vocabulary illustration commissions through the Kao Club members in renshuu. Our artist had to come up with one for きんにく, and...

It's a bit under the radar, but we just released our grammar markup system for the 150,000+ sentences available in renshuu! It helps mark up over 800 different grammar expressions in sentences so you can better understand the Japanese in front of you.

Wanted to show off one of the Kao Gardens that a learner over at renshuu made! It's a little system we built to reward users for their learning, and get a little extra Japanese exposure at the same time!

We just released Kao Garden, renshuu's newest achievement system! Collect coins as you study (so, doing what you already do on renshuu) to grow and decorate your garden. The garden itself uses Japanese to help you practice while you're growing stuff.

We're so close to releasing Kao Garden for our renshuu app! We've built an entire garden builder to help reward you for learning Japanese. Finish quests and decorate your garden! We've even got trees and plants that grow as you study, whether its words, grammar, or kanji!

@buttcape Hope you're enjoying it! We're 100% focused on Japanese only, and we are big believers on low-stress, no-pressure learning with lots of positive motivation, and none of that shaming that a certain owl seems to like doing :)

Oh, one more thing! If you happen to be red/green colorblind and are using renshuu (or renshuu.org), pop open the settings in the menu and search for "color" - we've got a setting that replaces red/green usage to help you learn more easily.

@TrekGuy62 I cannot promise any specific functionality, but I can say that we'll be looking at a grammar detection system, and this might be a possible offshoot of that!
