Despite earning $3 billion from DC every year, Clark Construction continues to be involved with the ICE HQ project in SE DC. Join us this Monday at 5 pm at Clark HQ (1200 New Hampshire Ave NW) to demand an end to this. Clark must choose DC or ICE. They can no longer have us both.

This past weekend, I joined my dear friend and fellow Ward 8 elected, Commissioner Cheryl Moore for a meal distribution on Alabama Ave. Cheryl has been someone I’ve looked up to for years. I’m incredibly grateful to have her in my life.

Yesterday at The Samuel Kelsey Apartments, we talked with seniors about Medicare, Medicaid, healthcare coverage, and access not as policy talking points, but as everyday realities. One resident said it better than any campaign could: “This is why we need a medical professional on the Council.” Healthcare isn’t politics when it’s your prescription, your doctor, or your ability to get care.
