@Casey_LeighD @CliffyD While Saint-Jerome isn't perfect, it's a fan friendly 45 minutes from Montreal. To be a "success" Quebec City needs a buzz like Trois-Rivieres to negate record distance from Montreal for a training camp site.

In a sense, this is a good thing if the goal is to truly promote the @MTLAlouettes as "Quebec's CFL Team". I don't think it's a barometer for interest in a CFL squad playing there. Part of me always wants camp being held at Percival Molson Stadium, though

A report in @lesoleildeqc states that #Alouettes likely won't be returning to Saint-Jerome for Training Camp in 2026. Other sites are being considered with Stade PEPS in Quebec City as a leading candidate. #LCF #AlsMTL #CFL

@HerbZurkowsky1 I think you tell every owner , interested owner etc , same thing about cfl , saying never make a penny . Every time someone makes a business decision , you say told you so . Cfl is viable and teams can make a profit . Not simply cutting corners .

Looks like PKP is starting to cut corners. I told him when he bought the team he’d never make a penny off it

@FarhanLaljiTSN @MoeKhan19 @3DownNation More than just sleeves for Molson. New turf will need to be installed as lines are sewn in. That should be paid for by Als. If to be believed Farhan, CFL will be responsible financially for change over of any shared stadiums. Commish stated as such at SoL at Grey Cup.

@MoeKhan19 @3DownNation Not sure why that would matter. If new sleeves have to be installed for a change of uprights at Molson Percival I’m sure that Alouettes would be paying for it. Same with any adjustment that would be required for the field.

To keep an eye on. Having general convos with USports football coaches across the 4 conferences, in reading the tea leaves, there is a belief it will be a majority that vote to keep their current football dimensions & not adopt the new CFL layout. @3DownNation @FarhanLaljiTSN
