(there’s no actual confirmation that he used epitaph here, it’s just my guess but

most likely visible the only unclear moment is at san giorgio maggiore (when bucciarati is hiding) diavolo only knows bucciarati is there because epitaph predicted him attacking in the next 10 seconds but we can’t see epitaph with shadow boss sooo…

before! chapter 130 goes like:
flashback of baby diavolo until he leaves sardinia in 1986 → back to the present with polnareff, doppio and bucciarati → second part of the 1986 flashback with diavolo in egypt getting the arrows → chapter ends with polnareff connecting the dots
