@DressaMchd @yumnah_elkhabir i never got a negative feedback from any of my loved ones nor i have problems w anyone regarding this topic and i believe if I'm doing it unconsciously they would have no problem telling me but i am no saint so if i ever have done something like that I usually try to apologize

@resdowntown @yumnah_elkhabir You probably do it unconsciously. Think about how many of the most devout and self righteous religious people are horrible behind closed doors, and often continue to believe in their own goodness when their loved ones go no contact.

@modernmuseage @yumnah_elkhabir yea i think so too, i think just because you have problems with yourself you shouldn't spread that negative energy to everyone around you that is not fair if they love you enough they will be willing to experience that negativity with you anyways but i still think that's not fair

@kair1n you are absolutely right about this and i wish i could stop being mean to myself even if just to make them happier but this is probably the only thing i am not able to do for my friends or myself

@resdowntown If they love you, aren’t they hurt by you hurting yourself? What will you do one day when they ask you to be kind to yourself for their sake? Will you be able to stop or would you cling to your self-flagellation at the cost of their heart?

@resdowntown Yeah but are they actually close to you? Do they actually know your inner world? Do you actually see them often and speak to them about things that aren't just niceties, but vulnerable truths ripped straight from your soul, even if it's ugly or fruitless?
