Justifying your paper *without relying on your findings* is key. So many papers read like they are setting out to prove something. Start with your RQ. Tell us why your RQ matters. If your RQ doesn't matter, your findings might not either. Or I might think your findings drove the project.

In your intro, tell me simply and clearly why your study matters, without relying on your findings. That means why is your research question important. Don't give me 4-6 mediocre reasons; give me one good, central reason (and if you have them, you can briefly add bonus reasons).
