Today is not an easy day for many. Whether they have had pregnancy losses, infertility issues, mothers that can’t be with them, etc. Unfortunately, sometimes, these “holidays” can just remind some of what they don’t have. Therefore, I want to take a moment if I could to highlight this wonderful woman who used her own painful infertility journey to try and make lives easier for others. @risal770 has advocated tirelessly for YEARS across the country for increased awareness around reproductive health, advocated for people to have the access to care they need to receive fertility treatment and has been instrumental is changing laws around third-party building. While we honor mothers on this day, it was important to me to honor Risa because she has honestly helped people have the opportunity to become one! Thank you Risa for all you’ve done. I love you and I see you!
