From 1990 to March 2026, Tanzania has registered 42 investment projects from Rwanda worth USD 325.53 million.
These investments have created 2,225 jobs across key sectors.
The sectors include manufacturing, transport, financial services, natural resources, and tourism.

JUST IN: Tanzania Electric Supply Company Limited and Energy Development Corporation Limited have Officially entered into a power trading agreement — enabling cross-border electricity exchange.
In March 2024, Tanzania and Rwanda power grids were fully interconnected via the 80MW Rusumo Falls Hydroelectric Project and now that integration has moved into execution.
