(3/3) Solites coordinates the strategy finding and planning of D&C activities. Solites supports the access to RESTORE target groups, especially the #DistrictHeating sector and deliver know-how regarding this sector for the highest impact of the RESTORE project.

(2/3) As a research institute in the Steinbeis network, the focus is on innovative and new technologies for which the state of the art does not yet exist or where it has to be adapted to new problems. In RESTORE, Solites is leader of #Dissemination & Communication management.

(1/3) Our consortium partner Steinbeis Research Institute for Solar and Sustainable Thermal Energy Systems - Solites works in all areas of solar and sustainable thermal energy systems that contribute significantly to reducing CO2 emissions.

(2/2) Social Sustainability Assessment holds key role in evaluating potential social effects of the RESTORE solution and allows us to optimise our approach moving forward to minimise negative and maximise positive #socialimpact across different phases of RESTORE.

(1/2) Starting the year celebrating impactful developments within RESTORE with a throwback to our last GA in Pamplona where our partner @ProspexInst delivered a collaborative session on social indicators selected for the Social Sustainability Assessment of the RESTORE solution.

@tu_wien is Vienna’s largest-technical research and educational institution whose aim is to research and develop #technologyforpeople. Within the RESTORE project, they are responsible for creating a new reactor concept for TCES (thermochemical #energystorage). #tuwien

(3/3) The project partners two workshop took place: an exploitation workshop organized by Steinbeis Europa Zentrum and a social assessment workshop organized by @ProspexInst Thanks to @CENER_Energia for hosting and to all partners for the fruitful discussions.

(2/3) The RESTORE solution which allows for up to 100 % share of #renewableenergy and #wasteheat in #DistrictHeating networks was discusses with advances on the two key innovative technologies of a #thermochemicalenergystorage combined with a reversible #OrganicRankineCycle.

(1/3) The first general assembly meeting of the RESTORE #H2020 project took recently place in the headquarter of @CENER_Energia in Pamplona where all project partners could physically meet for the first time.

In RESTORE, @polimi leads the #research on #optimization of innovative pumped thermal concepts developed for the #decarbonization of district heating. Results will be used by @Turboden_ORC, @ENERBASQUE and @SimTech_GmbH for the design of commercial plants and replicability cases.

(3/3) It was very nice and productive for both teams of SIMTECH and TU-WIEN to meet in person in the pleasant setting of TU-Wien's Labs and dependencies, in the center of the amazing city of Vienna. (Check the view!)

This month Javier Calviño and Miguel Dominquez from @ENERBASQUE have been hosted by Gianluca Valenti and Marco Astolfi at @polimi in the framework of RESTORE. All open points have been solved and LabX of Energy Department is ready to welcome the #OrganicRankineCycle prototype.
