I get all the hype that Claude has cloned open claw rendering it useless…
It’s been an impressive few weeks.
BUT, for me, the pace of change just highlights the importance of being model agnostic.
I just can’t get on board with the idea of locking all my context and memory into a single ecosystem at this point.
I want to be:
State portable, model optimized.

5 years ago today, I started Stimulate!
I stumbled around trying to start a business after quitting my corporate job, and somehow landed on building and scaling a retention marketing agency.
And the fun part is, I feel like we're just hitting our stride!
Big shoutout to my team for making it happen, and I can't wait to see where we are in another five years.

Here's a little preview of a before & after we recently launched for a new client.
The differences are subtle, but the new version got 57% more conversions.
And I'm about to share the secrets that made that happen 👇
1. We included the brand USP above the fold (and the first CTA), immediately reinforcing why people should buy.
2. We featured the coupon code above that first CTA and made it much clearer what code to use to save.
3. We used a hero image that better showed off the "hidden nursing access". The first image hides that key feature.
4. Right after the hero, we pushed straight to the 8 best-selling styles. The old version had a brand story section here, but we folded that messaging into the hero and prioritized shopping instead.
There are a few other enhancements we made throughout this email, but these are the big ones that actually boosted performance.

We increased a client’s cancellation save rate by 41% with one simple change.
Here’s what we did:
When someone tries to cancel, most brands show them one offer. We showed them two.
→ First offer matched their cancellation reason
→ If they declined? We hit them with a second, bigger offer
Result: Save rate jumped from 12.1% to 17.1%.

@roccobertino Interesting. I haven’t tried Claude code so not sure what I’m missing but once my clawbot was online it’s been pretty easy to use imo. It kind of just does everything for you

@retentionrandy Maybe I’m the one missing something but OpenClaw before Claude Code seems like trying to ride a bike for the first time without any training wheels
