Hermione slowly adjusted the duvet as she cuddled into him, keeping it over her as she just rested her head against his chest as her eyes closed slowly. “Hm, good. So, when can you move in?” She teased, slowly trailing her fingers over his arm gently as she kept her eyes closed.

Richard could not suppress another laugh that escaped, reaching out as the laughter continued to grasp at her fragile hand within his. “I am being serious, I’m sorry. I’m being completely serious. How would you feel about moving in together?”

He laughed a little at that, not because he found it amusing of the idea of them living together, but that was the one thing that crossed her mind in this…change. Richard made his way over now, settling down beside her on the couch.

It takes him a moment to fully process this whole thing, and even then it would be an adjustment. It was just not something he anticipated happening so soon after returning home, plus there was no real way to know if they’d call him back once his shoulder healed.
