Retire Before Retirement

@retireb4

39 y/o husband and father who made the early retirement plunge in 2025. Life is paid by dividends and option selling. Cheers to your journey from the rat race!

@Yankees A voice in NY sport radio that will never die and live on forever. A life not just well lived but also made the lives of so many who he never met better every day with his radio calls.

Sometimes having done strength training since age 7 pays off! I was a 2x MA state champion gymnast before injuries. Then varsity shot putter in highschool, then amateur natural bodybuilder / powerlifter until age 24. It's amazing what is possible with less stress, age 40!

If one does plan to retire (at any time, not just early), you need to have a plan of action to fill your days with mental and physical exercise. Do multiple stress free things to fill your day . Doing nothing for months is not a plan.

People love fantasizing about a reality where you have nothing to do but chill all day This path sends you down such a dark alley you won't understand it until you experience it yourself Nothing to wake up for or a mission is the saddest version of winning

Caught up with a friend over coffee the other day. She’s a millionaire, debt-free, and earns ~$285,000 per year. But she’s thinking about walking away from it all to travel the world full-time. Maybe the real “risk” isn’t leaving. It’s staying.

@RoaringHammy Most of my money goes to experiences with the family. From go kart riding to ropes courses, vacations, skiing, shows, sports events, etc. It’s also made me a more lively person too. I love getting out of the house and enjoying these things.

As i grow older (i'm 44 now), i'm spending more money on experiences (going on more trips with my kiddos) than material goods now (i don't drive a new fancy cars or wear fancy clothes)... Are you like that too?
