(4/4) I do not see how others can claim those in other regions are “entitled” for wanting localization to be a more widespread thing. It feels like something that shouldn’t even be up for discussion. I’m really hoping he makes a follow-up response and takes action.

(3/4) I highly respect Toby Fox as a creator, but he is not good at handling these kinds of matters. I don’t get why or how people are defending this poor response. His fans from all over the world have funded him, and I hope he does a better job repaying that going forward.

(1/4) His arguments almost hold up for Deltarune, it’s a very specific passion project story-wise that I’m sure he wants to finish before considering focusing on translations. But, why would he choose to localize for Japan in that case?
