OKAY, so i drove over an hour to pick up some inuyasha merch from the box lunch manga popup. i am very happy to get hands on merch of the inuyasha manga, since i hate the anime... i love what i grabbed, but i do have some minor complaints. it's totally understandable to include-

i'm a loser so i recognize all the panels, but still, it would be nice to see some iconic manga moments that weren’t animated included as well. LAST THING, i wish the panels were cleaned up better. it's like they slapped the page on a shirt(erase the number and publishing stuff!)

for example, they included a sticker of inuyasha apologizing for breaking kagome's clock... this got animated... and in the anime, inukag get more upset at each other... but in the manga, they cuddle! i would've loved a sticker of that instead. there's so much potential...+

i skimmed through like the first 60? chapters of mao recently

@maonoka97 i can’t fully say, but from what i’ve seen, mao touched on the subject similarly to her other works… the “new” lover struggles with insecurities, feeling they can’t compete with a memory…

they did come to an understanding, but there could’ve been something more… i know what’s realistic, but… in a work of fiction… anything is possible…

realistically, i can understand why these 2 could never properly be friends… but i just wish they were able to come to some kind of understanding that didn’t involve kikyo dying again

i just think they’re not creative enough to come up with a better story that doesn’t involve absent parents/original characters because they didn’t have enough faith in the twins on their own

@supersailorflop ranma doesn’t really get first love arguments though, not even when it comes to akane and dr tofu

@retrocelestial You're right, they're the most delusional ones when it comes to ship wars. It's just that I see such comments everywhere but MI (I guess there's Mitaka to focus on too but ehh). Ranma incels are a close second to me, thankfully they're a much smaller group (despite being loud af)

it sucks knowing how inuyasha fans are… and with them flocking to mao, knowing what comments are inevitable… i fear if you cannot handle a past love storyline, especially the storyline of a love who has died, then you are too immature for rumiko’s works.
