I don’t need drugs and alcohol to get high, I learned that from AA and the revelation that God is my protector and savior. That changed four years ago when I crashed and burned and almost died from sepsis. I entered a drug treatment program at Providence Hospital for eight weeks. I went to AA meetings three times a week, but it was all about them, never about me. At the end of the eight week treatment program I bought a bottle of Bombay Sapphire for the next two weeks ahead, triple martinis. I lost my business and my livelihood, and I spent three years on the couch. Four weeks ago, I got a revelation from God. When I was saying the Lord’s prayer on my patio one morning, God came up to me in a cross that was perfectly linear with defined in points on all four axis. I entered AA the next day and haven’t touched the drop of alcohol since. GOD IS GOOD – NEVER FORGET THAT.
