@WorldOfJalen NO DID YOU NOT SEE THE REPLAY OF MITCHELL SLAPPING HIS WRIST.

🚨 SIRENS ARE BLARING NON-STOP IN GEORGIA — AND LOCALS SAY “THIS IS NOT NORMAL”
A man filming in Marietta says these alarms have been going all day, nonstop. He’s been in the same area for 15–20 years and says he’s never heard anything like this before.
Officials are saying it’s part of a “controlled simulation” at Dobbins Air Reserve Base and that it doesn’t indicate an emergency.
But people there aren’t buying it.
He says they do occasional tests… and they don’t ever sound like this. This just keeps going with sirens and announcements, over and over.
And right before the video cuts, he says it like he’s already made up his mind:
“Y'all get ready.”
Not like a guess.
Like he knows something the rest of us don’t.

@AForbesWx Looks like small cells start to pop off before it reaches us. Not a good sign.

@JustinWx02 I think it’s funny west of me saw more snow😐😕 could have been anywhere else but here.

@JustinWx02 Hey man I was really disappointed too. I’ve gotten over it. It is what it is. Couple miles NE of me has a couple inches while nothing here. Just when I thought I was in the hot spot. We will get it next time! Winter isn’t over.

@Ella__Dorsey Nobody expected canton-Roswell to be dry slotted that bad. Would have been nice to at least get an inch here. Wind was whipping.

@joshuawx_ Starting to pick up here but no accumulation… The moisture is swinging back pretty well.

@ATLAreaWx Unfortunately don’t see anything changing. They just totally changed their radar to we don’t see snow till 3 till 5 but just flurries. They just kept pushing it back. Rip

Please kill the dry slot 🙏
NWS Atlanta@NWSAtlanta
Updated timing graphic: Snow showers were 1-3 hours delayed this morning but are still expected today. With the new timing, east-central Georgia is likely to begin seeing snowfall in the mid to late morning before continuing into the evening timeframe. (1/2)

@ATLAreaWx I’m putting all my faith in the live meteorologist. They are still predicting 2 inches of snow here and to pick up around 12. Hope they aren’t just trying to get some hopes up.

@Ella__Dorsey @Ella__Dorsey do you think the dry slot will fill in soon? Becoming sunny here☹️
