It’s looking more and more likely that Ivar Stenberg will somehow “fall” to the #Blackhawks at 4th overall. Leafs take McKenna, Sharks take Reid, Canucks take Malhotra. If that’s the case, man, imagine a line of Stenberg-Bedard-Kantserov very very soon. Electrifying! #NHL

@bkfox5sports @DogLovers03 In this world that is chaotic and crazy, our dogs fill a void of unconditional love. That is why it is so difficult when you have to lose one to the rainbow bridge.

It looks like the Blackhawks are moving on from Ilya Mikheyev… So why didn’t they deal him at the deadline?

Gov. Pritzker says Mayor Johnson has “no plan” to keep Bears in Chicago: “He has come up with no plan at all about how the Bears would end up in the city of Chicago. So, that's problematic. I'd love them to be in the city, but we are three years in now, and he still has no plan.”

The Bears first submitted a bid for the Arlington Park property back in June 2021. The Titans announced their intentions to build a new stadium a little more than a year later. The Titans are about to get a Super Bowl. The Bears … not so much.
Mike Garafolo@MikeGarafolo

Music City could soon become a Super City. NFL owners are expected to vote during this week's league meeting on Nashville hosting Super Bowl LXIV in 2030, sources tell me and @RapSheet. New @NissanStadium would host the game in its third season of existence.

@ThienemanSZN Lifelong STH. I used to bitch about attendance years ago, and then realized that the food, beer, and bathroom lines are short. Always have to look on the bright side.

@CrashDummy12x @bkfox5sports Agree I said this on Twitter from day one of hiring Davison. Did not like the selection, but hated it once Bedard was drafted. Davidson does not know how to build a team and the last 3 yrs is evidence.

@bkfox5sports I don’t think so. He was a legit generational prospect that came into the worst situation in the league for his individual success.

Kyle Davidson has successfully turned Connor Bedard into the Justin “hypothetical” Herbert “if” man of the NHL in his first three years. #Blackhawks

@dwtreadwell73 @RidingThePine21 It’s the GM’s job to know. Most of what they have drafted is crap. The return for a budding hard working star like hagel was miserable.

@revot14 @RidingThePine21 Eh, nobody thought in a million years Florida would be in lottery this year. Hawks still have PLENTY of draft capital the next couple years plus a surplus of prospects already. Not gonna have room for a lot of em.

Are you suggesting that moving out a locker room cancer and one of the worst NHL contracts for a young number one goalie and a 1st round pick wasn't a big trade/move? Or that moving Jason Dickinson (both transactions) and Connor Murphy for a 1st round pick and two second round picks wasn't a big move? Or that acquiring Petr Mrázek for a 1st round pick wasn't a big move? Look. Sure Kyle hasn't traded for a "superstar" But to suggest his trading/making moves is lacking is just bat shit insane. He has one of the best trade track records in the game.
The Rinkside General@RinksideGeneral

One of the biggest differences between successful rebuilds and failed rebuilds is the ability to make important trades. The most famous one is Florida trading for Tkachuk. When Cutter Gauthier unexpectedly became available, Anaheim jumped in and made the trade happen. When Montreal realized they had a huge hole at RHD, they made the trade for Dobson happen (and they'll probably make a couple more moves this offseason). Buffalo is nowhere near their current position if they didn't fleece in the JJ Peterka deal. Even non-rebuilds have made a living off those moves (Carolina making the most of the Rantanen situation, Minnesota trading for Hughes, Colorado trading for two goalies and for Devon Toews and Kadri and several others, etc.) The biggest disconnect between Kyle Davidson and the #Blackhawks fanbase is that so far, he's *tried* to make big moves but has failed. Once he closes out a big deal, the fanbase's narrative will quickly change.
