@EliMcCann My absolute favourite. My guys gave me one for Mother’s Day a few years ago and it has finally started blooming!

I planted two tiny lilac bushes 10 years ago. They are now 16 feet tall and have produced hundreds of flowers and my entire house and yard smells like lilac right now.

I accidentally kicked my dog and he screamed like I had tortured him and then stared at me for a full hour from the other side of the room and I would like to go to prison without a trial now.

There once was a time that you didn’t yet realize you had hands. It’s a funny thought, but 100% true. In fact it’s not until somewhere between 2-4 months of age that babies fully “discover” their hands. Stranger still, thanks in part to the Palmar (or grasping) reflex, infants actually use their hands (involuntarily) well before they realize they exist. Once the discovery is made, scenes like this one - shared to IG by epicpsychology - become common. Your baby may stare at their hands in wonder for prolonged periods, soaking in not only their presence but their ability to control their movement (clumsy though these earliest attempts may be). This discovery marks the dawn of a whole new set of usages. What began as involuntary and haphazard, becomes increasingly deliberate and controlled - as your baby begins purposefully grasping and reaching for objects in their field of vision. You can support the development of these skills by providing safe toys and objects within arm’s length for them to reach for, grasp, and manipulate. Just don’t forget that almost any such object will be headed straight toward your baby’s mouth (as a primary means of exploration), so be particularly mindful of both their cleanliness and potential choking hazards during this exploratory phase.

Does your dog ever just suddenly get pissed off at you for no discernible reason? This happens to us about every three days.

He's getting really good at playing fetch.

Nearly the moment we brought the baby home from the hospital six months ago Duncan started trying to teach him to play fetch and he hasn't given up yet.

@EliMcCann I am terrified for Ukraine. Praying hard for Zelensky and the Ukrainian people, that other European countries and my own (Canada) will defend them.

Zelensky is a heroic man handling a horrific and unjust attack on the people he loves with such integrity and courage that the morally vacuous grifters our country has bafflingly elected don't have the capacity to understand him. It is incumbent on all of us to support Ukraine.

I feel so lucky my son gets to spend time with my 93-year-old grandma. She has always been so important to me and I want him to know her as much as he possibly can.

My baby suddenly started speaking in an Irish accent and asking his friends to meet him at the pub for a round on him.

I just asked my flamboyant husband if he has ever wanted to play a game of football and he said "only so I can tackle cute men."

My husband just whispered to me as climbed into bed, "you are the most perfect man I could have ever met, and if you ever set the thermostat to 66 again I will leave you."

@EliMcCann I’m shocked Mr Baby isn’t a Swiftie!

My husband has decided our baby's favorite song is Landslide by Fleetwood Mac so he plays it on a constant loop in our house all day and I guess I'm just glad the baby is not a Katy Perry fan.
